CN 6090 was built as MP 790. The unit became MP 3090 and was renumbered to UP 4090 on June 23, 1989. The unit was returned to the lessor by UP in April of 1994 and sold to Helm Finacial who leased it to CN as part of the group that would become CN 5364-5387. All units were temporaily renumbered by CN who just changed the first number of each unit to a "6". 6090 was numbered to CN 5387 on October 13, 1995. http://utahrails.net/all-time/all-time-49.php |
